Apple introduced the New iPad with amazing Retina Display, improved cameras and amazing 4G LTE technology. Ever since Apple released iPad, back in 2010 with 3G technology, this tablet was usually locked to a carrier. Suppose that if you have bought iPad via AT&T then you can’t use Verizon SIM card in it. Now, the good news is that New iPad is sold officially unlocked, which means that you can use your AT&T SIM card on your Verizon iPad.
This news was pointed out on Macrumors forums and according to the user; the new iPad is shipped officially unlocked, which means that you can use any micro sim on your iPad from any country without unlocking it. This also shows that All new iPad sold are Factory Unlocked. So, if you are using 4G network on your iPad and want to move somewhere else in your country where the reception is poor or 4G networks doesn’t work properly, you can easily switch to micro sim of any other network having 3G capabilities.
Well, One thing is also mentioned that the speed of AT&T 4G network will not be as good on Verizon iPad as on AT&T iPad. So, did you try other Network sim on your New, Resolutionary iPad? What do you think about it? Let us know in the comments section below.
