We have been covering a lot of Cydia jailbreak tweaks for the last few days and the current trend seems to be tweaking the iOS 5 Notifications center to the maximum, and coming up with Siri Clones like shrooms in a swamp. With jailbreak developers targeting Notifications center so much, almost everything can be accessed and toggled via the notifications center now. And the only thing that has been left was to access Siri straight form the Notifications menu. Well, SiriLaunch jailbreak tweak brings you just that.
So to toggle Siri, one has to usually hold on the home button for a couple of seconds, and then the Siri Menu pops up to hear what you have to say. If you are after an even more easier way to access Siri, then SiriLaunch jailbreak tweak would serve your purpose well. In fact, we find it even better to access Siri via SiriLaunch.
The working is pretty simple. SiriLaunch integrates a button with your notifications menu that you can use to toggle Siri easily. All you have to do is to drag the menu down from the top of the screen and tap the microphone shaped icon to launch Siri straight from the notifications center.
SiriLaunch is actually pretty smart, seeing as the plethora of jailbreak tweaks have bought every usable function to the notifications center, so integrating Siri with it as well seems only logical. But you would still be able to access Siri from the home button as well, so there’s no need to worry about that.
SiriLaunch doesn’t offer a ton of settings to fiddle with and keeps it simple. It adds a settings tab in your settings menu, that let you turn it on and off, as well as lets you determine the position of the icon on the notifications menu
SiriLaunch is free to download via the Bigboss repository in Cydia. So if you are a huge fan of Siri than it probably wont hurt you to give it a shot.
