Jailbreak iPad 3 5.1 Untethered has Been Achieved

Well, the iPhone hackers look very active and lucky these days. Few hours ago we shared you some screenshots of jailbroken iPad 3 by MuscleNerd of iPhone Dev-team just few hours from its shipping. Now the well-known German security researcher Stefan Esser (aka i0n1c) has just announced very important and amazing news. i0n1c just confirmed on his Twitter that untethered jailbreak just ported to iPad 3 on iOS 5.1, thanks for your efforts.

Okay my iPad3,3 is now untethered jailbroken…

No doubt that hackers including iPhone Dev-team and Pod2g are cutting steps in jailbreak iPad 3, iPad 2 and iPhone 4S, but we hope to get the final release of iOS 5.1 untethered jailbreak for iPad 3, iPad 2 and iPhone 4S, as many users reporting good news about the battery life improvement found in iOS 5.1 specially for iPhone 4S users, stay tuned.

during a jailbreak.. the jailbreak programm uploads what hackers call a "PAYLOAD" to the device... what this dose: is it run's code (that is unsigned by Apple) to hack (patch) the iDevice's Bootloader. Well sence every type of iDevice has an other Bootloader version: jailbreakers must rewrite this payload for every iDevice that is running the reasant firmware( in our case 5.1). That's the reason why there is not automaticly a jailbreak for an older device available when there is for a newer.... :-( but sence this exploit (security whole) works for every device: it won't take long to make an untehtered jailbreak for every device... :D (sry for my grammar, writing this on one o'clock in the morning xD)
