What the status of iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak and when it will be released? These are the most common questions on Facebook, Twitter and forums. It looks like that the German hacker i0n1c is the only guy who can answer these questions.
Two months ago, i0n1c was the first hacker who has successfully brought untethered jailbreak for his iPad 3 running iOS 5.1. But, unfortunately he is not interested to release such unique work for free and this is the main issue for not releasing his long overdue untethered jailbreak.
After releasing iOS 5.1.1, and while i0n1c was sleeping his girlfriend updated his iPad 3 accidentally to iOS 5.1.1, but after he woke up, he was managed to jailbreak his iPad 3 on 5.1.1 within few minutes. This means that iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and all iOS devices are also exploitable.
In these days we need a hacker like Geohot, who was able to find a bootrom exploit which made A4 based devices and older devices jailbreakable for ever. Indeed we need someone like Geohot to find such exploit on A5 devices (iPad 3, 2 and iPhone 4S)

My recommendations, don’t wait 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak from i0n1c this time. The only hope is Pod2g who is trying his exploits to jailbreak 5.1.1 untethered for all iOS devices.

I mean , if you're not going to release it than don't show it off or comment about it , keep it to himself, that's it, he doesn't have to release it to the public but he does not need to be showing it off teasing everyone who is waiting for a ios 5.1 JB ...that's just my thought in this matter , the good news is that muscleNerd will release redsn0w tool that will be able to downgrade ipad 2,3 and iphone 4s to ios 5.0.1, BUT you gotta have your blobs SHSH saved ,,I do have it saved I think I will be able to downgrade , lets see
