Improve Siri Speed on iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touch 4G using Quicksiri [Video]

How to Improve Siri Speed on iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touch 4G? Well, Apple introduced iPhone 4S with amazing feature one of which was the personal assistant, Siri. You can talk to Siri, Ask questions and order it to do tasks for you such as setting up meetings, send messages or open different Apps. Different developers worked to port Siri to older devices such as iPhone 3Gs and iPhone. This port was successful but you need to have proxy settings to properly use it on iPhone 4.

However, Siri on iPhone 4 is a little bit slow as compared to the native iPhone 4S. You can make it fast using a simple tweak from Cydia, Called Quicksiri. This tweak opens Siri in full screen rather than ¼ of screen. The developer also says that it will also make Siri faster on older device.

According to the developer of this App:

QuickSiri let’s you open Siri to fullscreen right away instead of the small bottom bar! This makes Siri load a lot faster and removes the glitch/lag that appears on older devices running Spire. Update coming later with option to disable help bar. also move it up to top.

Delete the plist file again @ dale, i had the same problem when i first installed. After i deleted it let me speak before giving error then after about 20 mins trying every 2 mins or so she finally said hi back then thats it. It should work from there. Ive did all the stuff dan said am im consistently getting the same response as frozen. Any ideas ?? It doesnt even let me say hi siri before it tells me something is wrong.

You have to keep trying for it to catch a key, i managed to get mine and my dad's iPhone 4 working. Works perfect as well as long as their server doesn't go down. I follow them on twitter & have the server status page. Most of the time its up unless they change servers to cope with the traffic. I never got it working once on spire. All the proxy's sucked.

Mines pretty quick any way, i just remember to close all open apps when not using them and i usually have around 240MB ram left over most of the time.
